Bain & Company My 13 YO is taking Career and Tech. She is dead set on diving for Michigan. What are her chances of getting hired from MBB with a degree from UM? Or would she need her MBA first? Is a Michigan degree good enough to get you into a top MBA program?

Boston vs NYC?
McKinsey & Company Hear me out people, I start with Mck next week with TC(150k) doing data/strategy stuff. Great. I am about to finish an interview process with Apple doing purely technical data stuff. I imagine the TC will be significantly higher from Apple(200k~). As I really want to pick up the business acumen from Mck, would it be stupid to try and get Mck to renegotiate despite start date being so soon(given I get an offer from Apple before start date)? I have already accepted offer from McKinsey & Company

32 will be on the higher end of the age Spectrum of most MBA program, I’d say go for an MBA now.
You would definitely be too old for MBA… I dont think I met anyone that old at the M7 school I went to (except for long-term vets)
Went to another M7, plenty of ~32yo.
Vets, israelis, and people from all walks of life from diverse nationalities. Less so non-vet Americans.
Usually after bschool if you come back to consulting you come back a positron below M so i would say go now instead of waiting to become too senior
Go for it now, if only so that you can party like a 29yo instead of like a 32yo
Now is the best time to go.
I made manager at a B4 before I went (M7) and it made no difference, you will recruit at all the same companies for the same positions

Usually you’d need MBA to make SC at our firm (unless you’re an experienced hire). I’d focus more on whether you even need an MBA, and how exactly you think it will help your career. Education is always great, but when it’s not sponsored by firm and you pay out of pocket, you have to be wise.
