Does MBB do any real strategy work besides their usual project management work or just taking existing client work and re-packaging in better slides? Seen this over and over again for the past few years we hired MBB

Fed up with my current tech stack now project want on call support over weekend. no one knows project. No one is supporting.
Thinking abt current situation I'm bit worrying.
Somehow given interview in EY and selected. HR ask me CTC, NP and expected CTC. I told 20% and 60 days NP. She said, will check with business and get back to me.
It's been 3 days no response, when I called her today she didn't pick. Is it normal in EY?

I applied to an experienced consultant position at Bain and just heard back. Yesterday, I received an invite to a HireVue one-way interview to complete. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes. For folks starting at BCG (experienced hires) in August, is there any indication as to what the first week(s) of orientation and training is like? I.e., remote vs in-person (if in-person, which city), etc.

Does Boston Consulting have an M&A and Private Equity Practice? Based on company webpage this is not quite clear…perhaps it is not a main focus as it is with, perhaps, Bain? Or the competencies are integrated within the practices of BCG?

Should I expect any specific questions during an introduction call with a recruiter? I have a call setup with a BSG recruiter and just wondering if I should prepare for any interview type questions?
