Hi there! Interviewing w/Amazon for a non-tech role (Associate Category Manager aka Associate Buyer) and was asked what my salary requirements are for base+bonus+equity. Can anyone share insight on what Amazonians make in this role. I have 4 YOE and glassdoor is not very helpful.
Any feedback is appreciated 🙏 Amazon

I'd ask for it if I intended to take the job. But working Saturdays is a non-starter for me. I've got kids and a life. I'm not spending my weekends working.
That should be clarified in the interview. I took on a job (still there) where the had us in mandatory OT, I am talking about 05:00-15:30, ONLY 1 hour was OT because it’s a 9/80 schedule, which I find is completely BS considering they ask us to come in on our OFF day plus weekends?!?! I have not or will do weekends. I have a LIFE with my family, not this establishment that is Orwellian in a sense.
I would absolutely ask for a higher salary . That information was withheld for a reason
That probably depends on how you handled that news in the interview. If you indicated you weren't happy learning that, and you still get an offer, you should ask for more money. If you essentially accepted that news and didn't object, it may not be well received if you take exception to it after receiving an offer.
If the first situation is true and weekend work is required and the pay remains the same without additional payfor Saturday, what then?? Accept or decline???
