During the great resignation, many are moving onward and upward.
Boutique -> Big 4 -> MBB -> FAANG

So the people that left FAANG, where are they going?

Deloitte. Is this even a question?

I only know like one or two BAs and ASCs from my class that exited to to FAANG. Why does this app have such an obsession with MBB to FAANG? There are tons of cooler exits.

Back to consulting. I like it there.

WLB is terrible, but I like running what is effectively a small business in consulting.

Some other folks I know have left for startups, other FANG or FANG-like firms, etc.

Dig up oil wells

I want to move back to consulting

^which type of practice? Thought I was in a pretty cushy team and still worked 40-50/wk (possibly more before a big pitch)

Back to consulting. FAANG was cool, but idk I really missed the opportunities consulting offers. WLB also isn’t that much different, but that’s dependent on your team.

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

I am in the process of finding administrative assistant interns from our local universities. In an effort to make my job opportunity appealing, I am asking everyone in this bowl about an appropriate job title. Is "Administrative Assistant" outdated or unappealing? I certainly don't want to mislead anyone on the job responsibilities, but I do want to avoid any potential negative stereotypes attached to that job title. Are there alternative titles that you find more appropriate for 2022?

Hi fishes, I have 2 offers-
Thermo Fisher for Data Engineer in AWS and Python and Ameriprise as Lead Developer for Informatica Powercenter. Ameriprise is offering 50k more in my monthly salary than Thermo Fisher. My preference is to join in where I can grow and get a good learning for future career growth. Also, work life balance should be good in the organization.
Please help me with making a clear decision. And i have 8+ YOE.

Resigned from my job for blatant racism last week. Been a contingent worker for 6 months. The manager that recruited me unfortunately left after a couple weeks and went to another company. She however recommended me for the permanent opportunity to higher management. The acting manager came in, permanent role was posted, I applied, interviewed……manager told me they chose someone else external for the role. I could sense the manager had no intentions to hire me permanently
