I am currently an Assistant Manager for my companies Operations department. I have been in the role since Feb 2018, initially as a Supervisor, and in the beginning of 2021 got promoted to Assistant Manager. Have I just had bad luck with the companies I've been at or is it like this everywhere? I've had 7 managers in my 4 years of experience, 3 in one year at my first position (which is why I left) and now 4 at the 2nd company in 3 years. It’s Friday night at midnight and I just got out of work. I am new to FPP defense. So far it’s soul crushing. I feel like a robot just doing the same pattern pleadings and discovery over and over. If I try to be creative or ask questions I get the response that I should not recreate the wheel… basically just cut and paste. My brain feels like it’s going to rot doing this work. Does it get better or do I need to plan my exit to a different field ASAP?

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team?
