Entertainment moves so fast that “boundaries” almost feel impossible. I’ve had producers texting me at midnight, clients expecting notes turned around instantly, and coworkers venting on set while I’m trying to focus. The few times I’ve drawn lines, I worried it would hurt me down the road. What’s the best way you’ve set boundaries without damaging trust or connections?

I’ve found success by being proactive. Communicate your availability clearly from the start, then stick to it consistently. People usually adjust once they know what to expect.

The first rule of overemployment is dont talk about overemployment to anyone outside your house. :). Second: always protect the main job. Third: As the main job always has the priority, the Second and third jobs must preferably be contract gigs with not too many meetings everyday. Remember: another day, another dollar.
