Especially with AI, the public should have access to model development process and learning procedures... Companies that do not disclose this information should consider why they are not... Explaining how something is trained abstractly does not give away the secret sauce.

I can't disagree with your premise, more transparency would be a good idea. However, I think there's an obvious reason why companies don't want to talk about how their LLMs are trained. A lot of them scrape the web and vacuum up a lot of copyrighted material. There's already litigation around this, and some AI companies have made deals with publishers to forestall any further litigation. So I have to assume most AI people really don't want to get near any conversation about whether they're using plundered intellectual content.

I think you just explained why I am bring this up haha

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for. I would appreciate any input!!!!

Any Atomic Habit readers here? I’m brainstorming identity-based habits for two things I want to change:

-I want to bill more hours, so my goal is to become the type of person who bills at least 8 a day
-I want to drink less alcohol, so my goal is to become the type of person who drinks occasionally

Neither of these feel that helpful. Any one have suggestions for other identity-based goals that get at these changes I want to make?

How do you deal with a challenger type of personality? I’m fairly new and I know the senior is trying to teach me the thought process. Anyone from EY UK could help out that would be great.
I applied to the EY UK Elevate program Audit Senior. My application was rejected and immediately I got another email, confirming my application for Audit Senior - UK wide program.
I logged into my portal and saw that for the Audit Senior - UK wide program it was written "Forwarded as Applicant You have been added as an applicant to this requisition."
Has this ever happened with anyone? Is it a good sign?

Hi everybody! 😊
I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?
