Just talked to a doordash recruiter for analytics manager role which requires 6+ years work experience. They offered 108k base and 107k equity over 4 years. So that ~130k and it’s much less than what I make. The LinkedIn link says the range in Colorado is 115k-149k base. I live in a big city in Pacific Northwest which is not Seattle. Am I being low balled?

Currently in the US but interviewing for a UK-based firm and role. The comp level they are throwing around is £250k TC. Is this reasonable for a Director-level role with 12 YOE? My comparator would be wait 18-24mo to become a consulting partner - in the US that starts at $450k/£325k. For the purposes of this question, assume I’m optimizing for initial comp, not long term potential, and not livability, Intl experience, WLB, CoL etc. Thanks!

I have 7.5 years of experience into Automation Testing(UI+API+Mobile). May i know the salary range for Grade 26 and for Grade 27 at Optum. I have been considered for SDET role. I have got different answers from various folks working at optum. So will be grateful if someone could share the salary ranges for the above two grades. For the same experience, some are in Grade26 and some are in Grade 27. So bit confusing. Thanks in advance!

Every morning before I start my work day, my boss demands that I send a detailed agenda of what I’ll be doing and when I’ll be doing it. They actually get mad if I forget to include something on the agenda… Is this a sacrifice I should’ve expected to make when I took a remote position, or is my boss just crazy?

Is it common for industry tax Senior positions to offer sign on bonuses and/or a yearly bonus? The base is solid but I don’t know if I should ask for a sign on or yearly bonus as it’s something I’ve never done. It’s a new role in their growing international tax team.
