About to head to the HC for a role in ProdOps and Strategy in Mountain View. 4 YoE at MBB, no competing offers. Recruiter gave me a form that asks expected comp.
Levels.fyi has only PM salaries. I haven’t been told the level but expect it to be L4.
What total comp would you expect for this role? Any advice would be super helpful, as I’m a bit lost.

We're complaining because our pay is lower too
It all depends on the year. When I made M, it was 2009. My raise was about 3%.
Are they higher?
Yeah that's the first I've ever heard of higher pay raises at EY lol you may want to check your sources.
^ exactly
I have been working here for 5 years and I'm still only making lower than 110k
Raises are higher? 😂😂😂😂
My m2 to m3 raise was 3.5% op, and I was ranked a 4 last year
There are so many factors it's hard to tell with this shit, but mains ones being firm performance and what they deem your market value based on your level, location and practice (salary band). Then within that that they have the wiggle room to pay more based on your rating but that's usually a difference of a couple % at most compared to the first two key factors.
My raises so far have been: 7.2%, 25.4%, 8.6%...
It is a career, not a sprint. Most people I talk to are happy about their salary and bonuses over time.
EY 5, what practice are you in!?
I use to work at Deloitte. EY raises have been better since I made the switch. Don't know about this year though.
I assume your 25% raise was promotion?
Ya to S1 (but that doesn't include the 5k bonus)
I got a 5 and had gotten a 3 the year before and so I was on the lower side of the staff 2 band going into the higher side of S1, the firm did well that year, and probably most importantly, my city went from mid tier to to mid-high tier col and so everyone got a higher than usual bump

EY 2, in 2009 most of my clients had their pay cut 5 - 10% yet EY gave raises. One partner told me their distribution was less than the year before but they still have the staff raises. 3% sounds pretty good when the rest of industry is giving no or worse negative raises
Ey12: bad assumption. Not always the case
