"Thank you for applying for XYZ position. Unfortunately, you were among the least qualified candidates and will not be considered further. Best wishes in your pursuit of a more suitable, lower, position."
“You… you actually thought you could do this job? That’s cute.”
If it's polite people want honesty, if it's honest people want politeness

Yea smh my head, it'd be greedy to expect polite honesty - choose one

“Oh bless your heart.
Kind regards.”
I’m from the south, so this particularly hit home 😂
EY is one of the colder big 4s.
Just says more qualified applicant selected. Think positive, maybe you were next on the list and didn’t make the cutoff.
It looks like we figured out why the other candidate was “more qualified” 😂 jk
Straight to the point. No sugar coated BS. I appreciate that. Besides, I get tired of reading the same reject letter over and over. I like this.
You didn’t get the job. Move on.
Lol chill, SC1. Just trying to bring humor to everyone’s Sunday morning. I’m not actually offended or bothered by this. It’s just much more direct than how these things are usually worded and it made me laugh.
Is EY Parthenon some type of EY Plus?
You applied to a Parthenon job posting while working at EY and you’re surprised you got dinged?
Ah ok that clears it up haha
Something similarish happened to me, applied for a role made it through the initial screening and the status was along the lines of “moving forward in process”. Turns out the person who was supposed to schedule my interview was on leave, and after about 2 weeks it changed to someone else was selected.
Never got to interview, felt like I didn’t get my fair shake after moving forward but never hearing from anyone.
OP I legit would’ve made the same joke😂 I don’t know why everyone is pressed about your post lol
I applied on a Thursday and got rejected Friday for a deal tech role that fits me perfectly.
