Hi all, I am in discussion with TCS for salary negotiation. They are offering less CTC than the offer in hand. They are waiting for my confirmation to release the offer. Now, I am thinking to ask them to provide me onsite assurance(not now but at least in 6-12months), so as to compensate for the ctc difference. I know that account has onsite opportunities at my band. Is it a wise thing to ask the manager to give me onsite assurance in written so as to compensate for the CTC ?

I'm new to the industry and this is my first corporate job. Been working as a BI analyst for about 2.5 years and I roughly make $80k. I'm having a hard time trying to gauge how much should I be making, or if I speak to my manager about increasing compensation how much to ask for so I won't sound absurd. Do you all have any tips on this or are there any tools that I can use to accurately gauge how on average much I should be earning?

Traveling next week for a client after a long time. Booked a Delta Main Cabin ticket through concur. Now I am trying to upgrade to 1st using my points but the delta app shows all premium seats as unavailable. Usually it did let me change it in the past but not this time. Have Delta policies changed for ticket upgrades from Main Cabin to Comfort+ or 1st? I recall all DL Main tix were eligible for upgrade as a additional purchase option.

Are there any good ways to make money outside of a typical career job? I’ve tried audit and currently in advisory. The job just makes me depressed, and I’m thinking the accounting space just isn’t for me. My husband works, so I don’t have to worry with medical benefits etc if I quit. We don’t have kids yet so I need something to keep me busy, and I would like to still have an income and make decent money. Any ideas?

Hi! I want to exit out of consulting with almost 4 years under my belt. I’m mainly looking for product manager roles but debating going into SWE (after studying). I have some interviews for product management roles at some Series C/D companies. I have a feeling I'll get at least one offer. Totally new to the start up game but given that these are both well onto the road to IPO (according to them) can I have them give me a breakdown of equity, strike price, outstanding shares etc? One is a PMM role too. 31, female in Boston if location maters at all when considering any of the above.
