Hi Guyz,
Any one from IBM ?
I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.
Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?

Not at all - what team are u interviewing for?
It's in the tech consulting group. Not sure of the technical name.
I’m not sure I follow… you were expecting to have one call and they scheduled two? Doesn’t seem like a big deal. If anything it’s a reflection of strong interest on EY’s part.
Oh I see. This seems like the recruiter is framing it one way to you and another way to EY. Not really a bad thing… just figure out who you are talking to and use the time to ask questions in order to decide if you are interested. You are interviewing EY as much as EY is interviewing you. Good luck!
I also explicitly told the recruiter I'm happy where I'm at and not really looking to move. Seems odd to me.
Lol yep. I through out a kinda stupid number as a "starting point"
Sometimes firms want (and may need) to move quickly, particularly for candidates they like.
Seems like they want you more than you want them. Use the chance to interview them lol start w tell me about ur team bf u talk about urself haha
Can someone offer a referral to EY?
Sure DM me
Update: apparently they just really like me 🤷🏼
Way to go, make sure you ask for the right $$$. If they like you, $ should not be an issue
