When one works with an external headhunter, it’s to their own benefit to get you the highest salary right?

Those who have worked in both EU and US - what are the biggest differences for you at this point in terms of WLB and salary etc? Which one do you ultimately prefer?

M&A tax salary range at kpmg in major city S2 level？

I have been offered a position in-house at a $500M-$1B company, mid-sized city LCOL, 10 YOE in private practice. They offered me $120k, w opp for undefined discretionary bonus. No paid parental leave or 401(k) match & only 1 week PTO in first year (but claim they have discretion for more). Is there any way to salvage this? Salary guides suggest TC should be around $200-215k. I want to get my foot in the door but this seems crazy low.

Business Analyst (Internal Hire) working in freight technology knowing I am incredibly underpaid.

I’m in my 2nd month as an internal hire (formerly a Pricing Analyst). I did negotiate for a higher salary when I made the transition receiving nothing but the promise of a conversation to reevaluate in three months.

I'm not sure of where to go after that, but I doubt I will stick with recruiting or my current firm.

I found a new job (huzzah!) and turned in my 2 weeks notice yesterday. But I started feeling crummy last night and went to the doctor for a COVID test today. Lab results already came back positive. So now I feel super guilty about basically calling in sick to my last two weeks of work...should I try and push out my start date to help out current employer? I have been working in HR for 1 year now, specifically in recruiting. I am currently an in-house recruiter for a company. There is a large turnover for the position I hire for, the candidates are low quality as the position I hire for does not call for many specific skills or hard-to-obtain skills.
What sort of requirements typically need to be met to move into a different part of HR? I will likely have to find another company as the only positions above me in my company are taken by people who are very unlikely to leave in the coming 4-5 years.

I fought all week last week for raises for a few employees who are amazing, important and underpaid. One of these people is actually a team lead. They are training others who are coming in and earning $4k more a year than she currently earns and she’s been with our company for about 2 years!!! I find this extremely unfair. The owners of the company believe these employees should speak up if they want a raise. I think it’s our responsibility to pay our employees fairly. Please leave suggestions🙏
