Time to start testing the "unlimited" part of that unlimited PTO
It means you now have to kiss your coworkers starting july
I hope so too. Have some bomb ass coworkers. Besides its just kissing, not like were sexing here... yet 😏
damn, you’re just gonna put the name out there like that?
anyone remember that one lady in SF? Was it RSM?
Interesting
Probably depends on the state. Distancing in the south. Fully open in the northeast. Anywhere with 70% adult pop fully vaxed should be in the office full time. I’ve been in the office since the fall and it’s really fine to come back now. I think the big4 are being way too conservative about it.
We've been able to use the offices with EY for the last year in my area(denver). At 25% capacity with reservations required and masks worn in office, yes, but they have always been open after the initial lockdown months.
Our expectation for July after summer break(from the rumors I've heard) will be 100% capacity allowed, no distancing, no masks if vaccinated. We've also never had mandatory office time since the EY office only has like 200 seats but nearly 800 employees assigned to it, get the picture?
Audit/client service will mostly depend on doing whatever the client wants, some clients want us back on site and some don't so that will still be team by team in July. But with permission we are able to go back to client sites now, and in July it will just get easier to go back(no formal request form required anymore). This is all rumors and hearsay of course; will expect more detail for July in our all hands call tomorrow.
Yikes!
Woof
SF will be fully open post 4th July. Expectation is that we are in area for part-full time back in office in Sept
I was told in my interview process that we’d be given 60 days notice before mandatory return and I’m not planning to return before that since I haven’t relocated yet.
Edit: I watched the interview and she didn’t say that they’re bringing people back in July, only that all offices in the Americas will be open then.
Also likely to have flexibility after the sept date based on team and client. Discuss with your team.
The interview also didn’t say it was mandatory, that it was team and client dependent. As far as I know, my team isn’t eager to go back.
