If you have kids - Boundless Life is a good option for longer term / slow travel.
They basically cater to families of digital nomads and have schools in various locations (Italy, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Montenegro and Bali) plus accommodation for the family and a coworking hub all about 10-15 min walk distance.
We spent 3 months in Portugal with our kids and it was amazing! Got to explore the country and have free time during the day for ourselves whilst kids are in school. You could technically travel all year round and the kids could go to school in all these locations and not miss anything since the curriculum is consistent across all the locations.
Viking river cruises in Europe was awesome

I like Holland America because they give me free cruises and that aligns with my fire goals and they have unique itineraries and aren't party boats. I'm half the age of the average passenger tho

I play $25/day in the slots and they label me a gambler and I get casino offers
Oceanwide Expeditions is phenomenal for Arctic and Antarctic itineraries. Recently did a 6 week trip to Antarctica, South Georgia, Tristan da Cunha, and St Helena. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever done.
G Adventures is sort of no frills, but they emphasize sustainability. FTLO Travel and Intrepid are similar but I’ve only used G Adventures.
Otherwise, I’m a big fan of looking for local boutique hotels and taking local excursions since they usually work with local tour operators.
Bookmarking all these w/ your notes for the future thanks!
I’m not a fan of cruises, but I’ve heard very good things about Ritz Carlton cruises. But I would never subject myself to a so-called “Fun Ship.” Or anything Disney.
I have never taken a cruise but am considering. Open to any land operator recommendations as well.
