Feel quite behind in life. Currently Big 4 Manager and just completed Masters of Data Science.

Have friends who left early to do their M7 MBAs and are now making double my salary (PE, Tech, MBB). Also have undergrad friends who also make double.

Know that I shouldn’t be comparing, but it’s hard to ignore the huge differences in lifestyle now. How do I truly get over this?

Currently interviewing for an Associate Partner role with New York Life. I have 15 years experience in financial services. What should I be asking for when it comes to salary. The range they give is $60k-$160k base, not including bonuses.

Again posting since my last post did not got attention. Wanted to ask whether it's good to switch to big 4 India advisory role from a mid tier organization dealing in tech and ops. Additionally, they offered just very low percentage on current CTC saying that I am coming to a big brand.
Plus my current financial situation is stressful and I accepted the offer on certain conditions but now hr or the firm but saying we can't committ you. Any suggestions.

My current CTC is 9lpa, skill-IAM and Java, YOE-3. I asked for 14lpa, best they could give was 11lpa. I know I asked a lot.
