Just got the order to start going back 3 days starting in October
How you feeling about it? I was pretty bummed when they announced we would be making a full return to the office. I been thinking about switching jobs just because of that
Sadly, no. My company also asked us to come 2 days a week and a third time the first week of each month.
Some companies are not comfortable with working from home, claiming that "working from home is not the same", that's why I switched to the freelancer sector.
Yes, and it is a bit annoying to have to attend only two days, in my opinion, they should either make us come back to the office every day or only work remotely.
For me this is micro-managing the editor, I believe that the way we use our time at home is judged and for this reason more and more companies are forcing people to come to the office.
Yes, and I am excited about it staying that way.
Sadly, no. My boss is a bit of an oldhead so he gave us some spiel about the physical presence being crucial to the work dynamic yadda yadda...
2 days isn't too bad. How do you feel about going back into the office?
Still WFH and it looks like that's how it will always be. Honestly I don't think I'd ever do a job again that required going into the office.
Some people choose to come into our office, but I still work from home five days per week. As I don’t have an electric car and don’t want to depend on public transportation, I am content.
Companies that don’t think people can work from home are the same ones that don’t want to hire anyone over 40.
Some of my coworkers are still at home, I'm not. Part of it is personal preference. I really like coming in to the office because it makes it easier to separate my work and home life, though I know a lot of people who prefer to work at home instead. It's really about 50/50 in my company right now
Working at home & loving it. Especially w/the price of gas, it's nice that I don't have to leave my house most days. I'm also spending less $$$ b/c I don't go out to eat so much anymore
