Somebody say layoffs?

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

If you want to do banking, perhaps. If you want to do consulting, no. Pretty straightforward really!
If you’re a recent grad, and presumably fairly new to consulting, I would suggest that you keep in mind that you’ll be receiving all sorts of hooks thrown your way by recruiters.
Recommend you be clear on what you want first, (long term career, steps to get there, companies to get there, timeline, etc) then it will be easier to make sense of hooks that come your way, and pull the trigger when they’re aligned with your path.
Banking sucks, not worth the pay - ex banker here
Banking first, consulting isn't going anywhere
Taking into consideration future career trajectory, brand name, pay, exit opps, and work/life balance. I feel like I have it pretty good at BCG but wanted to get some other thoughts
Saw your reply after I posted. Depends on what you want your career to be. PE/VC/HF? Do banking. Otherwise consulting.
The answer above are all good. I think you need to talk to a bunch of folks who are bankers about whatever issues / concerns / assumptions you have and then decide what makes sense for you and your goals / wlb needs. For now, it never hurts to talk with the recruiter to get more info
My bigger question would be why is MS trying to hire lateral with non-banking experience? Are you sure the recruiter knows what he’s doing?
Worked in IBD before BCG - if you drop a burner we can connect. I’m vastly happier after lateraling over here and leaving banking
Tbh I think I want to do PE first (but not forever - that would be miserable). But we also have a pretty good time with PE recruiting these days. Sort of miss the non-travel, bullpen culture in banking that you can’t have at BCG. But don’t know if that alone is reason to leave for banking.
@Bain, I do have IB experience and also final rounded during campus recruiting, which might explain
