Fishes at MBB or even Big 4 consulting. How is the return-to-work / hybrid model being worked out at your firm? I stared not too long ago and I’m not huge fan of the virtual environment. I’ve found it to be longer hours, unproductive and needless zoom calls. Before the WFH forever zealots jump on me, but m not advocating to return back the office 100%. I’m just genuinely curious if this will continue to be the norm. Because if it is, it’s not for me.

I’ve been prepping for MBB for months but I know I’m still not ready. I’m struggling with staying structured and with creative questions. I’m really frustrated because I feel like I’ve put in so much work but I’m not where I need to be to make it. I know if I interviewed today I wouldn’t make it through.

People who are happy that the office is dead should reconsider. If the office is dead wouldn't that mean more outsourcing and less TC forward? Isn't it short sighted to think jobs will stay in the US if they are remote considering how expensive it is to hire here?

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. Now HR is restarting my ET as a new employee. I realize I left, but not on bad terms and I am an exemplar and respected employee. How difficult is it to go from bizops at FAANG to MBB without prior consulting experience?

How do you determine whether your inability to get out of bed in the mornings is due to depression or mere avoidance of all the crushing work and stress that awaits you? Still WFH and now beginning to get worried at how late I’m getting out of bed these last few weeks and feeling completely unmotivated to do anything.

Are there any companies hiring remote rn and willing to take a change on someone looking for a career change? I’m a senior manager in operations, but I just don’t like what I do.
