Thoughts on ARK innovation ETF
I got H1B Visa and 83000 USD dollar petition amount as annual package.I am confused as this amount will be enough to survive there with wife and 7 year old daughter. My wife is working here and together we are earning 50LPA annual. We are settled here by owning house too.Confusion is my wife will not be able to work there on H4 Visa so the kind of life we are living here will not be possible there.Thoughts?Suggestions?Pros and Cons?

Reduce the NPS component 10-15 K per month and invest the rest of the amount in other Mutual fund/equities directly.
Or buy a property in tier-2/3 city and start a small EMI.
NPS is very very long commitment and if you are planning to retire after 15 years, that 60% lumpsum 40% annuity will not be suitable.
Hello, to my knowledge we can withdraw the complete corpus if we opt for NPS for less than 3 yrs and the corpus is less than 5Lkhs
Now my question is - can't we withdraw the corpus and again start the NPS..
Correct me if I am wrong
You can go with the bonds issue by RBI. Check RBI direct website or you can check in coins(website)
Reduce NPS it only helps post age 60.. you can build other corpses by then and this will append that as another income source
That's an area that I do not know how to. The nps contribution is the default 10% of base pay that I've opted to put in to Tier I. I personally don't like the 60-40 split and annuity. But haven't seen another way. My pay structure just has the base pay and HRA and a petty cash allowance. So the nps number is high. So is the pf. Monthly employee + employer pf goes approx 32
You can opt for NPS from bank rather from the employer there you dont have any restriction in the amount
Like PM1 mentioned above, if I can bring down the 10% lower, I'll opt to do that and then move it to equity.
