The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Yes, it probably should. However, in this case the chances that she's not medically cleared to fly are very low.
This country has basically the shittiest protections for pregnant women / new mothers. Source: wife pregnant.
Women aren't cleared to fly that close to the due date. You generally can't fly after 36 weeks and some airlines won't let you after 28.
Yes, though through her company it's probably unpaid and flight attendants make diddly squat. Women don't work up to birth because they want to, they have to.
I am currently pregnant and my doctor told me it's standard practice to not fly past 34 weeks pregnant (so 6 weeks before you are due). Of course this could change based on the woman and her health. Keep in mind some women get a lot larger with their pregnancies earlier on so you can't always judge how far along someone is. Also, you are actually pregnant for about 10 months, not 9... FYI
Should maternity (and paternity leave for that matter) extend to time before leading up to birth?
Usually it's 2 weeks before your due date
Maybe she's just big boneded
