Hey!!! Do you want attention?!?!? Go drink in silence
@K1: Lounge people watching is one of the best parts of airline lounges. It gets especially interesting in the AMEX lounges, where a subset of the patrons are very obviously just authorized users on their parents' Platinum card.
I definitely lounge hop to check em out, but 4 hours is excessive. The first step is admitting there’s a problem
@D2: IAH Centurion is fantastic. Charles is one of the city's best bartenders. The rest of the lounges are mediocre, though the terminal E United lounge is quite roomy.
I certainly don’t like to spend any extra time at the aiport then I need to. Lounges are mainly for my connection, of if I need to take a shower after landing (eg LHR) to go straight to a meeting.
Hey. I’m one of those authorized users on the parents cards! Why pay for it if someone else will 😉
Always amazed at the people I see in the lounges. The touristy ones that are sleeping sideways on a chair. Other odd glove trotters... intrigued by that life...
Lol, truth.
@K2: IAH. Pretty dead today.
The centurion in SFO is better than IAH in my opinion.
Love doing that when flying international.
Which centurion lounge
@OP thoughts on those lounges? I’m based in IAH and am curious haha
Agree with KPMG 2. However I’d say Dfw centurion lounge is better than SFO because of the back massages you can get there
@Manager OP: the Amex Plat, and certainly lounge access, are not that hard to get. This is regarding your comment about the young “authorized users”
Either being a frequent flier has ruined you or you’re a real alcoholic.
