Gili > Seminyak
PS for those looking: Ritz Nusa Dua at 40K Marriott points (13K SPG) per night is pretty insane.
I did 3 nights each in Seminyak, Ubud, and Gili Trawangan. Definitely loved the latter two more - seminyak beach was gorgeous and our resort was great but the streets were congested and really dirty so not much to do outside the resort.
Definitely do the Mount Batur hiking if you're up for it. Starts at 4am and you get to the top by 6-6:30. Best views you'll ever see of the stars and sunrise. I stayed in Legian but visited Ubud twice. I think you're covered well
Ritz is best if you get upgraded. Not much to do around there. My suggestion is to change hotels more frequently to better chances of upgrade. We did two nights twice on our trip and got upgraded to a private villa both times because they happen to be vacant those two nights.
I liked Seminyak stayed at an all inclusive
Four Seasons Ubud was unreal.
I preferred Kuta over Seminyak. Also I stated at the Mulia in Nusa Dua, which was awesome. If you are traveling during rainy seasons, hotels are really cheap.
