Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

Seems unlikely. Top tier tech talent is at fang/sv companies not consulting. MBB is not even in the consideration set for those people.
Meant to ask have you worked at MBB in a tech role but you’ve still answered my question, thank you. For color, I come from a business/analytics background and transitioned into a more technical capacity and notice there is a HUGE gap in understanding what delivering “value” means. I am trying understand if MBB firms emphasize not only technical expertise but also business sense when hiring tech folks.
