You’re working 10 hours a day for one month straight, calm down.
Don’t feel guilty for “only” putting in a 10 hr day. You need time to do your stuff too.
If you’re working 12 hours straight with no breaks, of course you get burned out. If you want to be able to work later, you’re going to have to take mental and physical breaks during the day.
You sound like you’re doing a great job! Keep it up and do whatever works for you.
Yeah that’s usually how I justify it: “it’s been 10 damn hours.” Yet it seems like the senior people on my teams are going around the clock so I feel guilty for taking my evenings off. Thankfully I am typically given a set of tasks and then set loose without follow up or check ins, but it feels shitty to stop working while others continue all night.
Good point, thanks! It really does help to read other people’s thoughts on this.
