We outsource our payroll function. But as the head of HR in a rapidly-growing business but still young, I'm still managing a portion of the administrative burdens related to payroll, PTO, insurance, etc. Recruiting, full onboarding duties, and company policies are among SOME other tasks I own. Beyond this, everytime the word "compliance" arises, immediately, it's put on my plate. My company stretches the word "onboarding" to when we bring on subcontractors, it is again an "HR thing." Thoughts?

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Hi, I am bringing together a team through a reorg any suggestions on how to bring a new team together remotely?

How do I leave my role as someone on the talent team. I am on a small recruitment team of only a few people, who connect daily. I am also responsible for sending out updates tracking new hires and upcoming leavers (aka I would be on this list if i decide to leave). If I am looking to leave my company, considering all of these things, how do I do it in the least awkward, most professional way possible? I want to put in at least a two week notice, but will continuing my work after that be weird?

What is the average amount of time to fill a role? How long in advance should a recruiter start working with a hiring manager to get their position posted? I think it depends on the industry but curious to hear if there is a national average and if that number is even realistic given the increased number of roles in the market.
