For the past 2 years as an analyst/SA, I've grown my project experience and skillset in the T&O space, hoping for an alignment to this practice as a consultant. I recently got my alignment into a practice that I am unfamiliar with and do not have prior experience/skills (not my first choice of T&O). Although I understand the benefits of learning new skills, this does not align with my career goals and desired trajectory. How should I approach this - staying, transferring, or shopping around?

Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). I did that for almost 2 years before making the switch. I miss sales, though. Does anyone have any connections to companies looking? I work as a consultant for a small HR consulting service in Ontario, Canada. Our owner/president wants us to hit a revenue target of $1m this year. The closest we’ve come is $800k in 2019. We also noticed that in 2019 we hit our highest revenue but did the fewest overall client work for that year. In 2020 and 2021 we did more client work but fell short of $800k revenue. Our avg rev per client is $2500, with a lot of single projects @ $500. Does it makes sense to increase our prices?
