I encourage my team to take 35 days in the form of their sick and FTO time, while billing full weeks otherwise. From what I can see, usability hits 100%.
When I was at IPG I probably took off 5 weeks a year of straight up FTO a year. It was usually two 2-week vacations a year and either a week off or a couple of long weekends. So it probably amounted to about 50 days total if you include company holidays and sick days.
I’ve averaged 12 days off per year, including sick days. That does not include holiday office closures.
That seems low. In that case do you find a set number of days to be more helpful than unlimited PTO?
omd/omc is 5 sick days 5 personal days. don’t know about sick days increasing with years but for vacation days you get 15 once you hit 2 years
@OP1 Now that is a dick move. Just like when they changed the holiday calendar in the middle of February this year.
Took about 25 last year including sick time but also working from allows for more flexibility lol

I think it depends on how long it has been since you left the OMC network. If you don’t count as a “boomerang” then I think you start from ground zero unfortunately but don’t quote me on that
I’ve been taking about 23-25 days off since we got unlimited PTO. My manager has requested that we take 2 days off a month unless we’re taking longer vacations. We also get 2 weeks sick time, and any sick days not taken in one year carry over to the next. We also got about 12 or 13 holidays. I’m really not looking forward to getting that generous benefit taken away. But it was good while it lasted.
