Not about Amazon but maybe someone has the answer I’m looking for :) At Meta if you interview for a contract role and get rejected does the 6 month cool off period still apply to you when apply to new jobs? Similarly, if you are employed by a staffing agency at Meta are you barred from interviewing for other roles there? Facebook (Meta)

I got out! I loved and learned a lot from my time in agencies and yet my body knew it was time for that chapter to close. I couldn’t bring myself to do another agency gig. I’m SO much happier after making the move 4 years ago.
Congrats on making the change in your life! May I ask what you transitioned into and if it was a relatively easy move? Ie. Did you move in-house, and if so were the skills completely transferable?
I love advertising but don’t think agencies are run well. I became a consultant to help agencies manage things better. Good money but agencies don’t always listen. I found that I love new tech so only take projects that I’m interested (less projects than normal these days) and I started a company to help business not burnout their employees remodework.com 👋
Possibly going brand side following a layoff. I’ll try to report back!
I feel the exact same way, and am working towards going brand side. I'll let you know how it goes haha.
Please do! Good luck in your search!
So far, a major difference I've noticed is the onboarding process. I'm sure smaller brands won't be as button down, but this one is seriously covering all the bases so far!

Yes went to the client side. Easier to transition when you have an agency or healthcare background. I took a pay cut for a literal 9-5. Within a year & with two bonuses I was back at my salary with even a months vacation. My last client side freelance gig just ended. So I’m trying to land one again or perm. I haven’t done agency hours since 2015 when I left healthcare. Easy to land too once it’s on your resume.

I left advertising all together. Its lost its luster for me and I recognized that mental health is worth much more to me than staying in environments that wasn't conducive to my growth. It didn't matter which side of the fence (client or agency] I found the same characteristics and qualities in most of the organizations I worked at. I am burnt to a crisp and I'd rather not bang my ahead against a proverbial wall. I'm finding a new career path that's more aligned with my values.
All the best on your career journey!!!
