USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Hi Everyone !!!
This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.
Accenture
I want to move to Canada where everyone is so nice.
I do like it now.

If you have an LLC setup, you already have limited liability. It’s mostly W2s these days though. I usually try to get a few 1099s a year so I can itemize all my business expenses.
Not me. Never been asked or told to. Most work these days is now W2.

Sometimes they ask I tell them I don’t have ut no issues ever
In the past, no group has asked me to hold my own biz insurance for 1099 work - although i've been full time for years now, so maybe that's changed? But I wouldn't sweat it...
Usually doesn’t come up but I have worked with one agency that required it. I just checked yes in the box without actually getting it. But I did look into it and it’s not too expensive from what I remember.
Never for me.
Yes. Act like a business if you want to get paid/treated like a business
Yes. And it’s rare but some will actually check.
Yes. I got it years ago for an in-house financial gig that did check! Also mentioning to companies that at first denied me 1099 by telling them I’m a fully insured S-corp helped reverse that so I could get paid 1099. Most places that insist on W2 especially in California is just because they don’t want to risk you just being not in compliance with their labor regulations. If you can show them you are indeed a fully functioning business like a production company is that can get you more gigs 1099. Or as others have mentioned you can do W2 which is the default for most gigs but then you are potentially leaving a lot of money on the table.
Also Omnicom now requires it for all their 1099 contractors FYI and you have to upload your COIs to be verified. You can choose to purchase GL,PL and workers comp for just the duration of the project which will cost you anywhere from $100-300+ depending on the duration. If you’re a serious freelancer and probably work with all the big conglomerates a lot just get your own it’s like $80 a month.
