I recently sign a lease. The apartment will put my security deposit into an interest-bearing account and requires me to fill out a form W9. Is it better to have SFH for monthly cash flow or passive MF deals through a private syndicate? Love how BS credit score is. Got my score up to 800 last month only to go on vacation so my credit utilization went up to 8% due to the increased spending and my score dropped 35 points because I didn’t immediately pay the balance after charging the purchases. I always pay my balance in full each month and have never missed a payment, how is 8% credit utilization determined to be that big of a risk that my score got immediately wrecked, I don’t understand

Everyone has a different perspective on this but would love to hear yours. Someone has debt ranging say 4-5% interest rates. Do you attack debt more then investing to move towards a debt free life or do you go after investments since they return historically above that then paying down closer towards retirement. I know the latter looks better on paper but what about the psychological factors of being debt free and the guaranteed return on interest savings.

This is my first year being onsite, wanted to check how the onsite comp revision works, would I get increments in line with the US practitioners??

Who decides our onsite comp. Is it done by USI leadership or US leadership??

Is this bowl already dead? Assuming that most in this bowl, if not all, are onsite. There are so many situations which are unique to us. For example, no 401k and no PF contribution at the same time, bonus in INR even though our expenses are in USD, and so much more...
