I had a manager that was like that previously. I started just emailing him a daily email summarizing my progress on every project I was working on, meetings, emails, all of it. After a couple of days he gave me feedback that I didn’t have to do that. I then used it as an opportunity to point out how he had asked for that level of detail multiple times so to avoid him having to ask all the time, I was just being proactive. He then backed off. I’m by no means saying this is the solution, but it worked for me in that case.
That is a genius level of passive aggression, I applaud your solution
LOL. Imagine your manager is also on this bowl.
And how are they micromanaging? What are they doing to be in “everybody’s business”?
He’s just trying to mind his business as well, which is putting himself into all of YOUR business
