Frustrating to find out an old college friend you coached pre-interview ended up rejecting the EY offer.. only because I found out via LinkedIn versus an email thank you follow up

I’m a PR manager with 5 years of experience and have been applying for copywriting, project management and comms strategy positions with no luck. I’ve been applying since April and have only had 2 interviews. Any advice on how best to transition or what other fields I can look into?

I have an interview with JP Morgan this week for a Channel Marketing Manager - VP role in the Asset Management area. The role will be based in NYC. Just curious what is the normal range for the base salary and total comp.
