I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon

I was at Cap for 5 years. They sent me from India to US with a promised pay of 120k. One month before my travel to US, they slashed my pay to 73k. This was the SF bay area so 73k was dirt low. Since I had already planned around it, I could not back out. Trump came in that year and lots of companies stopped transferring visas so I couldn’t switch. Over the course of working with cap in US for 2 years, I got a hike of 1.5k per annum. I once received an email saying that I will get an annual bonus of $120. Two days later that email was recalled saying that I am not eligible for any annual bonus. I had stellar reviews and I was the key person for my engagement and helped cap win a multi million dollar engagement. I resigned the very next day as I had got another offer and visa transfer was successful. I had served cap in US for a total of 2 years. When I resigned, the 2 different client contacts called me to withdraw my resignation saying that they gave the RFP win to cap only so they can keep me on the team.
I wish all those who made me and my family suffer get to experience the same pain. I hate Capgemini.
Edit: spelling
That’s terrible, I’m so sorry
It is a good company, just needs to figure out who it wants to be… also depends on your group
I’d recommend you stay with EY and continue looking for other opportunities. I’ve been w/ Cap for 5 years and would not recommend it, especially to someone who’s exiting B4.
You were there for 5 long years and you don't recommend people to join?
It all very much depends on what group you’re in, but I love my time here at Cap. I’ve worked at 2 Big 4s and didn’t like either. Been here at Cap about 9 years and I’m really a big fan of the culture more than anything else. Lots of freedom to do what you like, mostly really good people and some cool projects. Not everyone’s experience is this way obviously, but the WLB, the culture and the people are what keep me here.
My comp is also rather good, comparative to the Big 4. I’m a Principal and make $300k base.
Are you in Invent or Apps? Also curious to hear what some of your favorite / cool projects have been. Thanks!
What service line will you be joining?
Data management. Privacy work
Invent or normal Cap?
Normal
I think OP is in a good position. You can go to Cap and try it out, if it is fantastic offer. If you don’t end up liking Cap, could you boomerang back to EY for a promotion or even more money? I don’t know the details of the offer so it’s hard to say.
It really all depends on your service line and project you end up on. There are some really great people at Cap but also some who aren’t great. During your last rounds really see if you connect with the people you would be potentially working with and if they really have your best interests at heart. The company has changed a lot over Covid and a lot of us don’t really love this new path.
Stay with ey
