Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

I have offer from Nagarro for 32 LPA(1.6 variable) and another from Turing of 34 LPA (2.5 Variable) I don't want to Join Turing, but can I negotiate with Nagarro based on Turing offer to increase my package? Or is it too risky since I don't have any other offer. What are chances if negotiation fails they(Nagarro) resind the offer?

Like the commenter above said… the negative culture here is quite shocking coming from Big 4. I joined not even a year ago and I’m happy to bow out and start my MBA. Getting staffed in the firm is extremely painful with no assurance given. It’s a look out for yourself culture here with limited support. Also no/limited promos given the last few years. Recently rolled back DEI. The firm is not in a good place ! The pay is good though..at least initially
Appreciate your insights B1
Go to a different firm, don’t join here at the end of the summer…plain and simple
Have you seen how awful the cycle was? This was the only one that panned out for me, so I took it. Will try re-recruiting for the fall, but have to make the best for the summer.
Figure out which floors in the New York office specific practices sit on and then go sit on those floors for the practice you’re interested in. Tell people you’re in the office and you’d love to meet up for a quick coffee.
Network like crazy and offer to do BD. That will help you get integrated and meet more people.
Build a network and make friends among peers and a level up without scaring your immediate manager. Their pressure rolls downhill and you will be well served w several good recommendations and advisors for chapter next. Don’t buy into having only one person or just a few know your value. Join events and office activities to network and talk about good work, so you are known and always be positive.
Thank the folks you interviewed w and ask if ok to stay in touch. Attribute success to their helping you. This helps them in claiming ‘people’ credit.
