For vacation? Just buy a local SIM card and you're all set. No roaming fees within most EU countries as of this year. Forward your US number to Google Voice and you're all set
I know I don't work at Deloitte, but I did the same thing last year and ended up taking my work phone. Asked my partner in advance and they were completely cool with it.
Maybe just ask your leadership?
Just pay at&t international rates or get t-mobile (unlimited data). You can afford it either way.
AT&T passport has three tiers in their plan at $30,$60,$120. Honestly none are great given the terribly low data limits on each. T-Mobile's regular monthly $75 plan will get you unlimited data when roaming. It's worth getting albeit temporarily
Ask your partner/lead and if approved get international service turned on. Otherwise unlock your phone and get a SIM.
AT&T has a new plan similar to Verizon. When used $10 per day, your home data is used (so can be used pretty freely), unlimited texting and calling.
*and you can receive your US calls over mobile data
Me too are you going to Spain
You don't need to do anything to make it work besides turn it off when you land and then turn it back on. Rates should be about $1.50-2 per minute and per MB. That's for Verizon
