Good evening gents and madams,

What is the best order to take the CPA exam? I heard that there is an optimized order and would like to know

Bec, aud, far, reg

like

Def take FAR before AUD if you’re not in audit. Maybe save BEC for last since that’s the easiest imo

like

BEC (AUD or Far depending on how much time you have, save FAR for when you know you have the most amount of time to study), Reg

BEC, FAR, REG, AUD (easiest, hardest, & then the last two really don't make a difference unless you do audit or tax. I'd save your easiest for last)

If I could do mine over I’d do aud far bec reg. Hardest to easiest. I lost far by missing aud by 3 points. I did not know how hard aud would be for me.

If you’re tax : FAR, AUD, BEC, REG.
If you’re audit: REG, FAR, BEC, AUD.

This is assuming you finish in 2023. If you’re planning to take the new test my suggestion may change.

Becker recommends FAR, AUD, REG, BEC
