Got 2 interviews deep for new role and have now been ghosted, what a bummer! Why do recruiters do that??

Recruiter rescheduled a call thrice and then stood me up. They reached out after the call apologized with a non apology (thought our call was x pm instead…) and then proceeded to ask if I am available for a call.

Should I tell them I am no longer interested or not burn the bridge and take the call?

I interviewed with the team like a month ago, the recruiter called me the next day and told me that congrats, everyone likes me and told that they were working on my official offer. 3 weeks later, nothing. I followed up 3 times already and got the answer that I should expect to hear by the end of the week. My last follow up email, no response lol. Should I just move on now?

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? Is it really worth it to proceed with a company like Amazon for 25k+. I live in CA so $ is imp but I do have a toddler so WLB is also imp. Both role are Sr. MGR.

It was great until the candidate wants to renegotiate the base and benefits after the current company counter-offered when the candidate no longer sees the future.
