I failed my first exam and now I am having a difficult time gaining the focus and drive I once hard to study and seat for another… did anyone went through that same thing or similar how did you over come that? I tend to set high expectations for myself and get overwhelm when those expectations are not met… but I’m working on that.

Is it too low? When can we expect salary revisions at Deloitte?

NTT Data: £80k
Tech M:£75 k(with sponsorship covered of worth £10k for 3 years)
Role: solution architect Teleco domain.

I am an senior associate at a small (8-10 attorneys) immigration firm in NYC. My base is 110k and I get 30% for the cases and clients I bring in. My revenue was 370k last year and I did 250k till April this year.

My issue is, I have so much firm's work that I have hard time to work on my cases/clients. It feels like my cases are supposed to be done after hours (like after 6 pm). My work hours are crazy. I feel this is unfair and since my firm's taking 70% of my sales. Should I ask for a raise?

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. If a partner asked you to do non-client related/may help later work, how long is too long to get back to them? Came to big law as a second year from a smaller firm (three years out). First year (who should be a second year) is emailing me trying to figure out where are things with a federal notice summary (I allowed them to help). Can I tell the first year to chill? I feel like if the partner needed it ASAP, they would have said so. I turned in the summary less than 72hrs later. Nbd/big deal?

In a new job and my manager saw through my impostor syndrome. He said it out loud that I need to work on my confidence and overcome my insecurity.
I constantly feel like I’m surrounded by people smarter than me and I doubt myself a lot. I’m scared everyone sees through my impostor syndrome and feel horrible about myself.
