Best consulting exits for work life balance in SEA?
Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Don't call it San Fran (first tip)
Nobody calls it San Fran if you're actually from here. Either say SF or San Francisco
People who say "San Fran" or "Frisco" just sound like idiots to anyone who lives there.
The SF PwC office is a dump
Wow, you guys are not helpful. Lol
Boo everyone calls it San Fran it's quicker
Are you in sf already? If not, you should be. If you can't find in Sf, start with east bay.
Here's an article written by someone as ridiculous as D1. Keep calling it San Fran, OP, because nobody who matters cares. https://thebolditalic.com/don-t-call-it-frisco-the-history-of-san-francisco-s-nicknames-the-bold-italic-san-francisco-5c14348d49c#.zdkp2c2xn
2nd best next to LA.
You guys are great despite the name calling jibes 😜
Don't get scammed. Don't pay deposits sight unseen even if they say it's going fast
And congratulations - it's the best place ever.
San Diego is better than both actually. But ya west coast in general has better quality of life
Frisco is hilarious
If you want to live in SF proper, be prepared to pay up. Don't fall for listings that's say "lower nob hill", what they really mean is tenderloin and you do not want to live there. Richmond or sunset district is more reasonable but further from downtown. Oakland is also more reasonable, but if you want to move to the Bay Area, SF is by far the best place to live. Check craigslist and future coworkers for leads. Rental market is not easy here, be prepared to go on interviews for openings
The city is great! But if I had known I would suffer this much for paying rent, I would've never moved.
I live here. I really don't care how you call it. There are important things to care about.
@PwC 3 why do you say that? Is it just old?
Try east bay Fremont -union city if you are OK with commute
Any one live on the peninsula and commute on the Caltrain? Is this realistic?
