Got an offer from Accenture as a L11 Business & Integration Architect Analyst in Chicago (post graduation w BSE degree) They offered me 80k & 10k signing bonus. Many are impressed with how good the benefits & PTO are, especially for entry level. Im a first gen college student & dont have people to ask if this is a “good” offer & how to negotiate.

Hey fishes,
I have given the interview in Hexaware and later on I got the email to fill the CAF form which is also done. Nos it's been 20 days and no call, no e-mail at all! I can see the status as offet pending.
I am on notice period and I have only 1 month remaining.
Is it like, hexaware will release the offer at the end time or something! Because I'm eagerly waiting for the offer as I don't have much time now!

The offers are done by role a geographic location and are non-negotiable. With that being said, you'll have to decide if it's a reasonable offer for you. The salary itself is great for a recent grad. Accenture is a wonderful place for I&D and first-gen individuals. It has robust ERGs in place, lots of support like financial literacy resources and sessions, and good benefits. Overall, a great place to start your career.
The questions now are, "Do you have a competing offer?" "If so, is it in the line of work you want to do?" "What are the benefits, support resources, and long-term opportunities like?"
Again, Accenture's entry-level salary is non-negotiable so, really, it's about what is important to you.
Thank you for your input!!! It means so much to me!! Everyone’s initial response is that they are impressed with the offer I received and then their second response is to still negotiate because “the worst they can say is no.” Personally, I’m happy with the offer, but wanted to get insight. Thank you again!
I’d take it. Offer is non negotiable and standard for the location and level. Chicago is our US HQ and personally I feel like being at a big office has helped me in promo (revenue -> promo slots). I’m not sure if you plan to live in Chicago proper but I observed that those who started together in the city also tend to become friends in their start group. I didn’t really get in on this because I lived in the suburb an hour out/was already not that social but I see plenty of people in my start class get super close

Is salary non negotiable if you have a year or two of experience elsewhere before joining for an entry level role?
Without projecting I think this is a great offer. But ultimately you need to determine if this will work for your current cost of living. I would advise you do some basic math (don't forget taxes) and evaluate if this will work for the lifestyle you want to live. Good luck with your choice.
Thank you!! The reassurance is very lifting. The math seems to be working out so far even with those damn taxes lol
I think it’s really good post grad entry level. Congrats.
Typically Accenture is comparable to Deloitte. They mostly all pay the same entry level consulting +/- a few percent. After two years or when you become senior is your first chance to jump. Within 5 years you will most likely be making mid 100s so great choice picking Accenture and consulting in general.
I'd take it. If you don't end up liking Accenture for some reason it will look good on your resume. Most people are pretty happy there from what I have seen though.
Thank you!! It is definitely resssuring hearing that from people at different companies!
Yes to the comments above, and also the average salary of a first year college grad is 40-50K, so it’s a pretty good offer all things considering. Plus from what I’ve seen, people tend to get promoted after 1 year post grad and then 2-3 years after each time. It’s a huge company with a great network and a lot of resources at your disposal. Unless you have a competing offer, it’s one you should probably take.
Thank you!! Working my way up the ladder is definitely something I’m interested in so it’s very reassuring to hear that!
I don't have am any recommendations but just wanted to say congratulations!
Live below your means. Keep a tight budget. And pick something concrete to gift yourself that's memorable. You deserve it ❤️
Thank you so much!!
That’s pretty standard comp for entry level. Accenture benefits are pretty good tbh. 401k match, PTO, and discount on company stock
Yes I thought the benefits were great! I wasn’t sure if it’s just because I’m first Gen and don’t come from a lot or because it was actually good lol. Thank you for the insight!
It’s a good place to work and that’s a solid job offer for a college grad
Can’t agree more with that analyst 1 is saying, especially testimonials that focus on one project rather than an entire time frame. I’ve been at Accenture for 6 years, I had 1 really awful project, and I feel neutral-positive about the rest. I could focus on 3 months of BS in an Internet forum without talking about 5 years and 9 months of good experience and I loved the Accenture team EVERY TIME even if the client team was neutral or negative
I just got my offer too!! What office will you be at?
