I have been a LEO for 25 years, 21 of those years being with a large city and 4 as a Special Agent with another agency. I also have two master's degree and my bachelor's degree is in law enforcement. My associates degree is in business management.
I am looking to make the transition from law enforcement into possibly as a director of security at a school, business, or hospital in the state of Florida. I am coming up with zero on every aspect of my search.
Any suggestions?

Hi Fishes, Need advise on tech stack. I am a Mainframe developer with 6+ years of experience. Which tech stack would be more suitable between Devops or Data Science or Mainframe modernization. I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Spoke to a lot of others who have left and seems like being pigeonholed or staffed on projects not related to the actual core work of the practice is the common reason. I've been on the fence about whether I should stay and hope to be staffed on better projects in the future or leave soon...

Did first set of redlines for a partner. Have ten years experience doing what this partner does but I am new to working with him. Said I did about a 7 out of 10 on that job. Litigators—how many different cases are you on?

Been feeling spread too thin lately but I don’t know whats typical. Curious what others do. And would you mind sharing whether you’re a junior, midlevel, partner, etc??

I realize sheer number of cases doesn’t tell the whole story… obviously you can be buried on one massive case. I’m finding it hard to jump back and forth between everything I have going on right now, though, but I don’t know if the answer is to just deal with it.

I just found out a new colleague was brought on at 20% higher salary than my current salary. (Have been w/ firm 1.5 years) She doesn’t have a 4-year degree (working on it).
