Guys .. I have a question. Is it normal to reject a tech lead position. Recently I joined in a team , no one has any clarity on requirements or anything. they have late night calls and extra responsibilities. As per my current situation, it will be a stress for me.

Single black female. Late 30s, no kids. Is it better to practice in a smaller market that’s close to major cities, lots of professional opportunities, but no real single professional scene? My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. Everyone on my team is leaving the firm. The PPMD who hired me left the firm before my start date, now two seniors have left in the last 2 months. My team will be down to <3 with no manager/SM/PPMD. What happens if what the employee said is slanderous and a “he said/she said” situation? Mid 2020, I turned down an opportunity to jump ship from my small law firm to a big law firm. At the time I had 4 years of practice under my belt with managerial experience. I thought the offer was reasonable, come in at a 2nd year level, but with the uncertainty of the times I played it safe. Now I regret it.
