Had an interview the other day, all-white firm, few women (typical for my area of practice in the south).

I'm a mixed woman of color, and out of nowhere, one of the partners goes on a rant about how he's "not racist" (regarding public backlash concerning litigation he was part of).

Immediately, I thought, "hard pass". I don't need to know the full story. If an old, white person feels the need to defend themself in an interview when the topic of conversation was nowhere near it, run.

My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience.
