Had to travel this weekend. A few observations. the plane was least the nerve wracking part of the entire experience. Everyone wearing masks. Middle seats open [SWA]. Plane was spotless.

Airports were empty. Most people wearing masks.
Long lines for food in the airports. Generally social distancing in lines.

Ubers have been stressful, but otherwise ok.I’m going to go wash my hands again.

Perhaps not directly relevant, but I have a difficult family background. Never known my dad, my mom had serious drug/mental health issues. Grew up with grandparents and aunt & uncle. Somehow I miraculously did well in school and ended up in big law. For Christmas I plan on faking quarantine to explain why I’ll be alone, though I want to be more upfront with colleagues, friends and potential partners, but I’m afraid my story will appear off-putting to them. Or will it reflect positively on me?

Here is my current cocktail: Caffeine 400mg (200 when I wake up then another 200 when I go to the gym 30 minutes later), Modafinil 150, Bupropian XL 150. I used to take adderall but it made me crazy for lack of a better word. Looking to add a stimulant for focus. Suggestions? Currently deciding between Ritalin and Vyvanse. Also, I know I’m a stim junkie I was taking adderall for 20 years so my tolerance is pretty high. Please keep it positive and helpful thanks

Any recommendations for resources after an adult diagnosis? Aware of all the national organizations but figuring out how to find people who really specialize in ASD (rather than just also happen to treat it) and professionals to help develop the skill deficits is difficult. So many resources for children or adults who were diagnosed as children, but not newly diagnosed adults.
