I knew of an alcoholic partner who was told to leave. Would show up drunk to the office and randomly walk into client meetings 😬 of course, there are also the sexual harassment cases. Know of 4 let go for that 🙄

I know of MDs fired for expense violations, sexual harassment and one for bringing data and materials from a previous employer. The prior employer was informed in the last case.
I know a couple Ms that brought "templates" from prior employers that were fired and their former employer informed.
Had a few Cs get let go for being too picky about accepting projects and rejected everything for more than 12 weeks. Very rare, but one simply didn't show up on a Monday after taking the project and working one week. He ignored all emails and texts, and we did a police wellness visit on Wednesday. Police said he was fine and playing video games.

The MD we fired for bringing proprietary data cane from an MBB. One of the MDs fired for sexual harassment was hired by a Big4 even after they were informed of the cause.
If you employ enough people, some bad apples will be identified. I ran a project with an OW team which had a person we had to push to get fired for insider trading. I don't paint all tier 2s because of that one person even though all T2 firms combined are smaller than our US employee base.

Absolutely. Some for poor performance, some for harassment or unacceptable behavior. I’m sure many of us know folks who were “counseled out” from some of the up or out firms.
It eventually came to light that he lied on his background check.

I know a guy who got fired from a project I was on for poor performance, even though he was an nice guy. Just wasn’t cutting it or willing to work the hours required for the project. Is still at the company though.
