Has anyone else experienced the feeling of not being “tapped” by your company or peers? I feel like I’ve always done well day to day (feedback in my review has reflected that), I’ve been promoted several times across multiple agencies, and yet always feel like I’m in the outer circle. I’m often excluded from things peers my level are included in, I’m rarely considered for large new opportunities, and end up feeling stalled and looking for a new role. Am I just not finding my fit?

Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Any good startups to consider? Anyone have any insight or advice?

Any advice as to how to help my other-half (who has bouts of anxiety and depression) apply to jobs? He’s going through a particularly rough patch at the moment. We had a big chat the other day which was great! However, even if we agreed that I’m doing everything I can for him (his words) it has to come from him (which we both agreed).
