Has anyone else seen really bad management in tech recently? It seems as if a lot of tech companies, especially in the defense sector, are holding onto retirement age employees because they claim they cannot find young workers. Yet, the management is so toxic that once they get a young person in the door, they are chased out right away by the retirement age workers afraid of being replaced because they can no longer do the job. Or have I just worked for really bad companies?

Lot of these posts are hypocritical. Shootings have been happening in the US for decades and BOTH parties have failed to pass significant/meaningful gun control legislation even when they held majority and/or control both congress and the white house. It's not just Republicans. We are ALL failing out children.

Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.

I want to one day have my own firm. Trying to think outside the box on how to get the experience w/o being in big law for ten years.

Thinking of applying to be an ASA and to the FL AGO. Would like trial experience or civil rights/con law work.
