Has anyone else used cvs for fertility medications? Aetna just told me that cvs charged around 33000 for 1 round of medications for my egg retrieval. When I called cvs they said that was accurate and just my 3 gonal-f pens were 17000 alone. This sounds super high since they originally told me without insurance my total meds would be 15k. Just wanted to see if this is what others are paying with cvs or if I should have them investigate further as to why it's so high.

I am on my second IUI attempt - I have PCOS and this time the ultrasound found no mature follicles after five days on letrozole. My RE is “stair stepping” the letrozole - moving to 5 mg immediately - in order to force ovulation. Has anyone experienced this? Taking letrozole mid-cycle?

I am embarking on egg freezing soon and I got some unpleasant news today after a scan. I had a scan 2 months ago and my follicle count was slightly low then. As I was on birth control at the time, I had to go off it and repeat the scan two months later. Have you used or ever heard someone use oral progesterone during IVF? I did injections in my first round which failed, but the practice in my home country uses oral progesterone a lot. Husband and I have been TTC for almost a year. His semen analysis came back all normal with the exception of morphology at 1% (Kruger Strict criteria). Anyone have insights into morphology and it’s impacts on fertility? From what I’ve read and after talking to our fertility specialist morphology seems subjective.

Not the results I was hoping for this morning. Went for my first appointment before starting injections this evening. Only 9 follicles. Was told birth control can suppress some so they may just not be visible yet but feeling very panicked now despite the doctor saying it was ok for my age.
