Hi Folks,
Hope you are doing well, I need valuable suggestion on few of my queries.
I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. I am frustrated with the current work as i didnt find anything productive to learn.Continued in com KPMG @

Can you move the interview dates around a little bit? You’d wanna do your best and if you’re in this state, you wouldn’t be able to

Yes. Try to move these and use some PTO. Then take a short break (2wks?) from actively looking/scheduling. I did this twice in my last job search to maintain my enthusiasm, my mental health and my original role.

Move your interviews out or take sick days at your day-job.

Gonna see if I can do this. Thanks!
Move the dates. Once I had 4 interviews lined up in one date - 2 from each of the 2 firms. I asked one firm to move. For the rest of the two - the firm canceled one the previous day citing interviewer unavailability and the last one remaining- interviewer didn’t show up. So you see , similar to you , I was freaking out. I think if you don’t move the date poor performance may disqualify you. On the other hand moving the date may get other candidates to be interviewed and selected. I would attempt to move around the dates, if I were you. Good luck

Oof. That sounds very stressful! I’m gonna see if I can reschedule. I am worried about them hiring someone else in the meantime but I guess if the job is meant for me then it will be. Thank you!
